We stock a range of log splitters as follows

4 tonne horizontal 4t-37.
This can split logs from 50mm to 250mm Diameter and 370mm Long

4 tonne horizontal 4t-52.
This can split logs from 50mm to 250mm Diameter and 520mm Long

5 tonne horizontal 5t-37.
This can split logs from 50mm to 250mm Diameter and 370mm Long

5 tonne horizontal 5t-52.
This can split logs from 50mm to 250mm Diameter and 520mm Long

6 tonne vertical 6t.
This can split logs from 70mm to 400mm Diameter and 1060mm Long

Wood Hygrometers
One of the most important points for the any wood burning boiler to work at maximum efficiency is to ensure that the wood that you use is at the right humidity.

Generally recently felled wood will need approximately 18 months to season.

We recommend a humidity reading of between 15 to 25%.

The wood hygrometer has two probes which when sunk into the wood itself will give a digital readout of the humidity as a percentage. This enables you to check that the wood is at the right humidity before loading into your wood burning boiler.
